About island Brač

The island of Brac is one of the middle group of islands, the largest among the Dalmatian islands.

To the west of the island of Solta by separating the narrow neck of Split, and to the south of the island of Hvar by the Hvar Channel (depth 91 m).

The red wine is produced from the indigenous wine sort Plavac which grow on the vineyards which village is surrounded by.

The Dragon's cave is located near Murvica and it's called like that because of the relief carved into the cliff.
It is something worth seeing.

Village beach is one of the most beautiful on the Croatian coast.

Although the apartments are built of stone and wood as they once used to be they are very modern, fully equipped and air-conditioned. Located in a old renovated Murvica house.

The round small stones are magnificent for pleasant sunbathing, cristal clear sea is excellent for swimming, diving, rowing, surfing....
The best description of the village itself is that it is a forgotten place, with a lot of ruins in it and around it.
Even on our beach we have Roman well, which is no longer in use, but it is here to remind us of ancient times.

In such place it is easy to relax and forget about the civilization.

It is 6 kilometers from Bol. Murvica has two beautiful beaches.

Just like the old settlements on the Mediterranean coast that preferred such location.

Murvica Bol on island Brač - Croatia

You can reach island Brac by ferry or catamaran from the city of Split.

The ferry is calling port of Supetar and a catamaran from Split is calling Bol directly.

Also there is taxi boat transfer from Split to Bol with a fast speed boat.

If you miss your ferry or if your airplane arrives late this website will offer you comfortable accommodation.
