Tucked away in Soho, Central, Sole Mio has been quietly serving refined, thin-crust Roma-style pizzas in Hong Kong for over 26 years.
You see, Emmer Pizzeria & Café crafts their own crusts using hand-milled grains, rye, and Italian flour, so they claim that their pizzas contain lower gluten and higher nutrients.
Well, aside from that, what keeps us coming back is, of course, the taste. They even scored fourth place in the list of Top 50 Pizzerias in the Asia-Pacific Region 2024!
Our go-to order here is the Diavola by Giovanni with a side of Quattro Formaggi.
This one’s a bit saltier because of the ham, but everything’s balanced by the peppery bite of its sauce.
Meanwhile, for adventurous foodies, we suggest you get the Funghi Pizza, which features portobello and cremini mushrooms as toppings.
